Why we're building Strawberry

As a technical team, we have experienced a whole new way of working thanks to countless new incredible AI developer tools.

But as we shared our excitement with our non-technical friends, we realized that the AI revolution had not yet meaningfully touched their lives.

We wanted to build a tool that would make it easy for everyone to experience the benefits of AI. We realized that the best way to do that was by bringing AI into the tool where most people do their work - their browser. That's how Strawberry was born.

Strawberry aims to empower you to work on the things you care about, by removing the tedious parts of your work and helping you focus. With Strawberry, you always have the newest, greatest AI tools at your fingertips.

The minds behind the mission

Strawberry was born in Stockholm, Sweden πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ, and that's where the team is currently based. We're a highly technical team with a history of taking on ambitious projects and building cool things. We have a culture of low ego, high agency and strong passion.

Charles Maddock

Charles started programming at 11 years old. He has built several startups and created a PVP game called Fishards. He has been obsessed with AI agents since 2018 and started building agentic AI full-time when GPT-3.5 was released; We call him the LLM-whisperer.

Arian Hanifi

Arian has two degrees from Sweden's top 2 universities and has been building software since he was 13 years old. A few of his endeavors include a GNN that predicts the smell of molecules, as well as reverse engineering the Stockholm metro system to give all his friends free access (allegedly).

Sebastian Thunman

Sebastian has been a creative builder since middle school and started building software at a young age. As a teenager, he dropped out of High School to pursue his first tech startup, followed by his second and third. He is a former competitive ballroom dancer.
